We do front toss with 4 buckets of softballs so we aren't picking balls up the whole time. It is a blast, pure beast mode, the only real rule is they have to hit it where it's pitched and they get imaginary bonus points for outside pitches that are hard oppo.

Mostly this is a fun thing to do but where a deal like this can really shine is if you have bats to compare. Even really similar bats like a 33-9 and a 33 -10 can be surprisingly different. Distance and better yet trajectory differences can be really, really interesting.

On a bucket
Does anyone ever just ever have there daughters try to hit balls over the fence off a tee. Something me and WarriorAngela have been playing around with. Having fun with it, but Ive been seeing some harder hits lately at game time...

Are there any cons to doing this??

Just to be clear too shes only had a couple go over, but a lot of deep ones to the fence is what we've been getting.

The Weekly's show this drill in their coaching book, using a high tee. We mostly do it for fun, with front toss.
