Hey pattar/Shawn.. when you say "use your hands better", what exactly does that mean? Somebody mentioned Ryan Braun progression drill..
Not interested in this kind of drill

Here's my opinion...
Your DD is very quick and almost violent and uncontrolled with her hands.
Yes the Bat Speed may be high, but what is her exit speed?
With a striding swing, I thought you were supposed to be "all in" with your upper body (lats, shoulders)...
She's not driving the bat through the ball, she's just swinging the bat really fast (violent)...learn to tame that and her exit speed will soar.
Like tuning a car for speed...
What are the results on the field?
Some modifications work, some don't...
Make "baby step" adjustments in her swing, and take exit speed measurements as well as distance measurements...
With all 3 DDs, their exit speed has drastically increased with all of the help I've gotten off of DFP.
Exit speed is King...
I don't know how to tame it, she likes to swing hard . I am trying to prevent her shoulders from flying open so much, would that help get through the baseball more?
Actually I was hoping to increase separation.. but didn't work out to well.. shes not use to it
Notice how she stands taller at contact... I want her to stay low and drive through, but I am having a tough time correcting this, we tried drills, we tried everything, but she reverts back to standing taller at contact. I think the back foot skips too far forward.. IDK

In regards to shifting.. I just don't know anymore. I see people saying that one legged is the way to go, I see others saying two legged. I see examples of both that are successful. But for the most part I see two legged in fastpitch and a lot of girls having success with this. I don't mind her getting some weight on the front leg, more concerned about keeping a stiff front side which I think she does a decent job. However maybe she's shifting too much. Heard of the command drill, seen it done before, but never tried with her.
5Frame.. I truly really appreciate everything you are saying, but this is all greek to me. No I can't get a local instructor for her, they are teaching what I am not interested in, knob to the ball, swing down shortest path to the ball..etc.
1. Do you believe her shoulders are flying open too early?
2. You say separation is already occurring, great, but I don't know what you mean by "but if the action to get there doesn't communicate to the barrel"
3. I've tried what I know to keep her head on plane throughout the swing.. yes you right I don't know everything so I haven't tried everything, can you explain more what you mean by this, "Learn to initiate the swing using the torso/hip-engine" which will then result in her staying low and driving through her swing instead of popping her upper body up
4. I thought she was fully extended at contact... or just a frame prior. Can you please elaborate so I can understand better?
Again, thank you for your comments
1. Do you believe her shoulders are flying open too early?
No. What I believe you are referring to is an accelerated opening of the lead shoulder that is occurring to enhance movement of the barrel. Prior to the lead shoulder 'opening' it is being 'elevated' ... and it is how your daughter goes about having the lead shoulder become 'elevated' that results in a barrel initiation issue. If you addressed this issue then the bulk of what you are concerned with will go away.
The lead shoulder elevation that is taking place here is not occurring through the use of a healthy torso/hip-engine.
2. You say separation is already occurring, great, but I don't know what you mean by "but if the action to get there doesn't communicate to the barrel"
How much more separation are you expecting to achieve?
The separation achieved should be more a result of using the torso/hip-engine and forearm/hand-engine. If you can, dig up the Griffy GIF I posted earlier. Observe the lead shoulder movement and the corresponding movement of the barrel.
Understand and appreciate that the barrel will tend to move in the opposite direction of the lead shoulder. Then learn to use the engine to make the lead shoulder become moved.
Having the lead leg become fully extended prior to impact is not a good objective. Lose that notion.
Thanks 5frames, however there is still a lot here I am not understanding
I want to address this...

I just don't know how
