Stop Raining!!!

Ok, not really a discussion, just sitting on couch and watching the lightning and need to vent for a minute.

We start fall schedule right after Labor Day. Having one of those streaks where it rains every time we have games scheduled. 5 rainouts so far, no games actually played. Looking really iffy for tomorrow’s doubleheader. Could be 0 innings all September.

It has been pouring out all day in the Chicago area. We play in Peoria tomorrow on turf fields. Hopefully we can get our games in.

Saw on news tonight that small town a little east of Peoria already had 7” of rain today, and they’re getting hammered still tonight.

We are dying for rain here in the South. It's been 90+ degrees here for 650 days in a row with no rain (slight exaggeration, but not by much).

Not that much of an exaggeration! It’s been so hot & dry here in NC, scary dry! Looks like we’re going to completely miss Fall and go straight to Winter. Supposed to be 93 degrees today!

We got hit with some severe storms in that area last night. I think it is supposed to clear out this morning, but be back this afternoon (as of now anyway).
