Stats Programs

are any of you coaches using a stats program? i'm thinking about using something a little more advanced than my calculator and the little space at the bottom of the scorebook page this year. thought about just doing a fancy excel spreadsheet, but if i can buy something cheap that is easy to use, i'll save the time.

I have found some good excel programs for free on the internet. I was already using a spreadsheet so that was the easiest thing for me to use.

I use statchamp (StatChamp - The most user friendly, all inclusive software for baseball & softball). Expensive but I keep stats on the entire travel association (8 teams, approx 100 players). Expensive but very comprehensive.

I was tracking specific stats last year so I created my own spreadsheet. DW got Turbo stats which is difficult to learn and I am thinking of doing this iphone app for myself...

Look up DakStats - they have a baseball/softball stat software. can do it during the game or after.

Take a look at ballstat.com, I've been using it this year. It's user friendly and cheap!!!
