Okay Okay. DD got the Mizuno GXS57 MVP Fast Pitch Catcher's Mitt. I got it from Homerun Monkey and it was $30 cheaper than our team's Mizuno "discount."

DD got the trifecta: CMW3000 mitt, two tone System 7 catcher's helmet and a 2014 Xeno. I should have asked for a glove mallet!

My DD was not in need of any of the big ticket items (although that usually doesn't stop me from buying things) so DD just got a few small things….batting gloves, rosin bags, and a face mask. Everyone on her team has a black mask and she saw one in a used sporting goods store near us that was white. I told her she was not getting another mask and that the one she has is in good condition. Being the sucker that I am I went back and got it, but to save face the dog gave it to her for Christmas.

DD is working on her core and grip strength so she did get a few items to help with this.

For those who like hitting with a wood bat discovered a Louisville Slugger softball wood bat ash bat model 125SB at Dick's Sports for $19.99. The thing I like about it is it is 5 ounces lighter than the wood baseball bat we use (34-33 vs 34-28) and has a good feel to it.

The weather has not allowed us to go out and hit with it yet, the barrel looks and feel slightly smaller around than the 34-33.

My wife and kids are with my in-laws right now. In my in-laws' culture, money is given for presents. So, DD #3 is trying to figure out what softball stuff she can buy with the money she is getting for Christmas and her birthday coming up in a week.

DD got a new team bat bag and a cf6 insane. won't be able to use it until mid February for indoor winter ball.

DD got a new LXT and some sweet LS batting gloves from Santa. The batting gloves, upon closer inspection, could easily double for dirt bike racing.

That 3000 is pretty stiff isn't it. I don't own a mallet either, always used a 8lb rubber coated dumbbell. #10, whats your impression of your new mitt?

Along with the 2016 Ressy Legit and KF30 my fiancé got...I got her one of these to try out since she pitches in womens SP tourneys and in a local coed league here and there with the occasional rec league hero. She didn't want the full head coverage like I wear...so this was the next best step to ease my worries
