Small rattle in 2016 Mako

My daughter reported that when she takes a swing, sometimes she can hear a small rattle in the bat. I picked it up and shook it (like a waggle) and I could make it happen if I did it hard. It sounds like something very small is in the bat. The bat has been fine, as far as we can tell.

Is this normal?

No, bat might be taken out of the game if they look closely.

No one will get in trouble, just no one can use that bat.
