Color Combinations in Catchers Gear

My daughter got size medium in the Allstar AFX in royal blue. She really likes it, but needs a size small in the chest protector. Would it look weird to swap out the blue chest protector with the white and blue, two tone version? My Word skills are not the best as I tried to overlay the white/blue on top of the blue to see what it would look like as a set.

I think the color combos are awesome. I especially like seeing catchers who have gear matching their team colors. I know that's excessive and might add $$$ to and already pricey situation, but I think it's cool.
