Shhhhhhhhh, don't mention those showcase tourneys out west, her team is not going. If she thinks about it too much she will be trying to find a team with whom she could guest play.
Again, being a 2017 grad, college exposure is not that important this year, especially since her favorite university does not even field a softball team and she has not even thought about what she wants to do after school is done. Being only 13, she needs to grow up some before she makes those type of decisions, so it will be her decisions and not the parents.
