Should DD consider playing pickup for Premier or ASA?

My DD first year 14U team did not qualify for ASA Nationals, and our team has not been invited to play Premier, so we are planning to play in the USFA World Series in PCB next month (went last year at 12U and had a blast!). Several local teams are looking for pickup players to bolster their rosters for Premier and ASA. My question is, is it worth the time/money to go to play at Nationals or Premier if my DD would be a pickup player? At 16U we would jump at the chance just to get the exposure, but my DD is a young 14U player (still in middle school this Fall), so I wonder if this trip would be worth it......thoughts? Suggestions?

IMHO, I don't think it is worth it:

A) She may not get much playing time.
B) There is a chance she'll be treated like an outcast by the other kids
C) She is too young for it to matter.
D) Not a good lesson to teach a child.

The only factor which might suggest she should be a pickup player is if she is thinking of changing teams next year.
