If you don't think this soft of thing still happens, I submit you have blinders on. Maybe it's different in California but anti-homosexual bias exists all over this country.

It exists here and all over the country of course. Where it IS different, is in college athletics.

Sorry, but that's simply not the case. Even if it's a minority of schools/coaches, girls don't want to find themselves eliminated from consideration by any coach due to a stupid bias.

Man, I coach softball and basketball in the deep south and this is the first I am hearing about it. You would think if there was any area where it would be a big issue it would be down here where it is still socially acceptable to wear your homophobia openly.
