Protective mask for pitching?

Would this be better than any or are there others better for a pitcher to wear?

Although not a pitcher, DD feels that the Schutt mask is more comfortable...at least to her when she's not behind the plate.

IMO, between the two, I think it's more of a personal preference than anything else.

My DD (13) Pitches, She agree with this... She wears Rip-It - She HATED Plastic -

Alright, I'm curious... why ?

She said she can't breath in them and they srteam up in damp / cold weather plus she wears glasses and said they cause her glasses to steam up. Plus oddly enough the Metal is lighter.

Comfort and good peripheral vision. If it doesn't provide those they are less apt to use them.

Sweet sun shield on the mask above. DD sport glasses always fogging up. Nice alternative.
