DD1 plays 18u for Chitown Elite. DD2 plays for Southern Force 16u. DD3 plays for Chitown Elite 16u but last year she and DD2 played 14u. Chitown Elite has been born of Chitown Express. There is only a 16u and 18u this year. The younger girls moved onto other pastures.....

First three are 11yo DD pitching at her state rec tourney. The last is the day 8yo DD got her own set of catcher's gear.

What age groups Big Momma? We played the Chi-Town express 12u a couple times last year. DD#3 looks a bit big for a 12u but if memory serves correctly half that team looked like they could have driven themselves to the fields. I gotta see if I can find the picture of my 3rd baseman at bat against them. She was still shorter than the catcher when she was in her crouch.

Bishop What organization did your DD play for last year, we also played against Chi-Town Express a couple times. We won the Chi-Town Shootout last year when my DD played for Wasco.

softballdad, Thanks. I was thinking that you were going to say NYC, but Chicago makes sense. We never saw those kinds of diamonds in Central IL., at all. I played all my life in IL.

Amy, whereabouts in central IL. We so wish we were in AZ, my in-laws live there and we visit now and then and it is beautiful there. I know the fields down in the Meas area are outstanding. Don't get me wrong, Chicag has very nice facilities but probably now where near as many as AZ probably has given the fact that you are able to play outside pretty much all year round. Also with so much spring training for the MLB I would imagine there are more kids interested in Baseball/Softball than here. By the way cute kid, is that your next softball player?
