Possible relocation - St. Louis

A little off topic but make sure you check out the flood areas when you relocate. The Mississippi river can be a monster!

Are you thinking of living on the IL. side or in MO.?

Amy, we are still discussing "sides"... I prefer IL (closer to work), but the other half like MO.... so what I mentioned prior isn't a for sure decision....

Remember, East St. Louis is not the same as St. Louis! :-O

Seriously though, St. Louis is a very family friendly city. They have wonderful parks and museums, many of which are...FREE. --Like the zoo, for instance; it's one of the best in the country and it's free of charge.

Oh, yes. Do not move to East St. Louis. When my husband worked for the State of IL. there were many schools in East St. Louis with run down buildings, old text books and no notebook paper.

Now, I am just waiting for one of you to post "that you live in East St. Louis and the schools are wonderful."
