i need to increase my speed but i have to ensure i have the right mechanics first so i need to know the correct mechanics to pitch so i can check if i am pitching correctly. pls help! also i do not really understand the arm whip

My recommendation is to post either pictures of you pitching or videos. You MUST get your parents permission though before you do this. It's much easier to advise on where you need to improve if we know how you pitch. Otherwise it's just very generic advice that won't help too much.
Lozza is correct. There is no way using a web forum to specifically see what you undertsand about pitching until we see you pitch
ACSoftball--post videos of your DD. Shoot from directly at her side, and then one directly behind her.
The arm whip can be a little confusing.

Attached are shots of Jenny Finch at 3, 12, 9 and 6. At 3, you can see her arm is straight as an arrow. So, the elbow and hand are at the same position in the circle.
At 12, she has a bend in her elbow. From 12 until release, the elbow leads the hand in the circle.
At 9, the elbow is leading the hand. To put it another way, the upper arm is making about a 30 degree angle with the horizon. The forearm is parallel with the horizon.
From 9 to 12, the hand catches up and passes the elbow. At 12, the hand has passed the elbow.
The easiest way to feel the whip is to go to a pond and skip some rocks. Pay attention to your upper arm and forearm. Now, lock you elbow and try to skip a rock.
The drills to get a feeling for arm whip are straight forward. You get the pitcher open (facing 3rd base) and position her arm at 9 exactly like Finchs, and have her throw. When she gets the hang of that, then you position her arm at 12 so she looks exactly like Finch, and have her throw.

oh actually i am a 13 yr old boy and i probably will only upload the video by friday. the softball pitching edge book really helped and i realised i was an "early loader" so hats why i dont get much speed. any drills to help with that? thanks
He has posted again, but I was going to point out I thought it was a teenager pitcher asking advice for themselves.
ACSoftball since you've stated you're a male pitcher don't be fooled into thinking that you can't pitch like the female pitchers. What country are you in of interest? (please don't get more specific than country) Please make sure you have your parents permission before posting that video. If you can blur your face, it would be better. And DON'T wear any club gear while making it.
