the "head of softball" told us it was perfectly legal to have 2 managers. I told him it was not. he asked how can I say it is not when he just told me the board ok'd it. I told him the regional director of Little League had just told me that they didn't and wouldn't allow it.

I then heard the sound of his diaper filling....

When I managed LL all the managers met and we made sure the total eval scores for the teams were equal. We would first sort using a S curve and then adjust based on coaches daughters, extraordinary requests, etc.

I will admit I played the "assistant coach" game to assemble the best GU9, GU10, GU11 rec soccer team in the state of washington...but in LL we did a good job of trying to balance the teams.

I'm guessing that they said that the "rear't coaches daughter automatically being on the team" rule was only valid for 1 rear't coach, not 10 rear't coaches. Thusly, the master plan of the evil rival team to make the 10 best players' fathers rear't coaches was nipped in the bud and the draft proceeded equitably for all.

This is classic! LMAO, so true!!
