I’ve heard it a thousand times and believed in it, just don’t remember seeing it on video like that. You can actually see it turn last.

So all that stuff about turning the foot and it’s part of creating separation by moving first is completely wrong and not what video shows.

Are we talking back foot or front foot?

Is intentionally turning the back foot something that’s commonly a teach?

Releasing the back foot is taught quite often.. I should know

Releasing is not the same as actively turning.
Releasing, actively turning etc etc makes no difference... you anchor it. It will release, but you are not actively releasing it. So you can call whatever you want, only thing you have to remember is anchor it
