If the ball is within a "step and reach" of F6, it is inteference. From NFHS casebook:

Your original question did not mention another infielder.

Usually only one defender is protected.

I fixed my OP.
Ball deflected off 3rd basemen
Shortstop has a play on the deflected ball but runner headed towards 3rd base interfere with the shortstop.
is she out?

I saw a similar play in a college game. Batted ball deflects off F5 inside the baseline. F6, playing deeper, potentially has a play, but deflected ball hits the runner heading for 3B. No interference...

Only one fielder is protected: F5; F6 is liable for obstruction, unless R intentionally interferes.
