Two thoughts:
1) If her contact is often too close to her hands vs on the barrel then it's likely she's pushing her hands as
others have mentioned.
2) If the contact is on the barrel it's likely that her barrel lags behind her hands because she is trying to
pull the barrel through the zone using her front side and opening her front side too much/too soon.

16 yrs. Played for at least 6 yrs. I can try to get a video, was just looking for suggestions or ideas, not necessarily trying to put a 16 year old on blast for hundreds of
people to critique her swing.

This community is not in the habit of crapping on the swings of young players. Observations and suggestions are for the purpose of helping her be more successful in the game. Video is MUCH easier for diagnosing issues and providing feedback that is actually helpful. Without it, everyone is just guessing.

Get a tee. Put it as low as it can go. Tell her to get in the box as facing pitcher and the task is to hit a high flyball down the 3rd baseline.
