As some of you know, I bought my DD an end loaded Anderson Rocketech. We went up an inch and 2 ounces. I was a tad worried about the increase.

Turns out she hits it just fine.

So then I thought, sheesh, we're talking about ounces here. Not pounds. An ounce.

So I get out the scale and weigh a softball. That's like 6-7 ounces. So going up an ounce is like adding a sliver of a softball. Things that also weigh an ounce:

a slice of bread
6 sheets of paper
a CD
20 paperclips

It seems a bit silly to think that one ounce can even be noticed, let alone ruin a good swing.

Obviously at some point more weight is too much, but in my situation I think it's obvious my DD was using too light of a bat. Core, do you have any 32 drop 5s available? :p
