Everyone, I apologize (again) if this is the wrong place to post this but since I only ever post on the pitching forum I am hoping that someone reading this can help.
Without going into major detail, although it's quite a story!!! I am hoping to move out of Pennsylvania in the early fall. Where am I moving to? Well, that's up in the air. I want to avoid winter. So, I'm thinking South, West, and/or Southwest. I am open to suggestions where I can have a steady stream of lessons to do year round and not have to rack up 200,000 frequent flier miles traveling on weekends to galaxies far far away.
I am open to suggestions. I am hoping to avoid the replies that simply say "come to Scottsdale" or "come to San Antonio". I would love to go to either place. But I need help with infrastructure. I am confident the students will come in when word gets out that I am there, but I am hoping someone owns a small indoor facility that I could make a deal with. While some of you may have connections at places, others might own your own place on your property. While it's an option and I won't dismiss it out of hand, facilities that are nationwide chains: D-Bats, Frozen Ropes, etc. are not usually willing to work out long term deals that benefit everyone. Yes, there are some places like that owned by people on this forum who may be more open to this idea than someone who who is not. But, I also know there are a lot of dad's, coaches, teams and organizations that own their own building who might be more inclined. Believe me, I'm open to anything and will discuss all options via PM's.. not back and forth on this board. For the sake of my mental health and physical health, I REALLY need to get out of winter in the Northeast.
So, if you're in the south, the west, the southwest or anywhere without subzero temps and snow, and are interested in sharing your facility please PM me. I really want to get plans made soon so I can start getting a roster of students for the fall.
