The Typhoon was actually one of the lesser titanium bats that came out in that time frame. Its only known better because it was Easton made. The best was the TPS Titanium. It was very rare and is almost impossible to find in good condition. A new one in the wrapper, if you can find it, will run you over 700.00 bucks.
The original Miken Ultra Maxload (and I will put the original Boombah Cannon Maxload with the OG Ultra) actually outhit any titanium. The titanium bats were awesome back then because of the hardness of the balls. They couldnt keep up with the Ultras (and some other composites) if using the same ball. Remember, the Titaniums were getting exit speeds of 110mph with 50 core balls...the OG Ultra< cannon and some other top composites at the time were getting same exit speeds with half the ball.
