Baylor has 2 players from California on their roster.
SMU (private school?) doesn't have a softball program
UTEP has 3 players from California
Texas Tech has 2 players from California
TCU (private school?) Doesn't have a softball program
Houston has no players from California



I remember rumors of one of the stronger '05/2023 Firecracker teams here breaking up because one of the coaches and his daughter was going to Texas and she was going to play on the Bombers...but I saw her a week or so ago playing for Huntington Beach High School so maybe they moved back....or maybe she is playing for the Bombers and traveling A LOT, or maybe it was just a rumor....though I havent seen her with that Firecracker team.
I know that my kids travel team last year had a player who lives in Phoenix area and just flew or drove out to So Cal every weekend. She is still with the organization, making the trip every weekend, just on an older age division team. This year's team has lost 4 players due to the families moving out of state, 1 to AZ, 1 to TN, 1 to FL and 1 to TX
