Thanks, y'all, for all of the input. She has practice tonight - spent 2 hours in the cage yesterday at school. I talked to her before she went down and gave her the tips. She said she hit really well, changing up her position. I asked her if the coaches said anything to her - she said "no because I was doing it right". We'll see how she does tonight. Since we have to travel to that practice, I will be going with her. I am going to have her come in and read the most recent posts when she gets in from school. I think the positive feedback really helps her - plus, it's not just coming from me! 
As for her throwing, she is very powerful with that. Last week, she threw from 3rd (temp position while letting the girls bat) to 1st. I heard the ball hit the girl's glove on 1st. She immediately chunked her glove down and started rubbing her hand. Her high school coach has pounded it in her head how to throw, so she is good on that point, thank goodness!
