I don't spend a lot of time on exercises and drills. We swing a lot focusing on creating resistance with certain areas. The planks are something the players should be doing on their time. I show them how and tell them to try and hold the planks for a certain amount of time.

There is also a medicine ball throw I show them as well - will try to dig that clip up.

One drill I do make them use is a bottom hand swing off a tee just to identify the correct resistance and part of their warmup. A few swings is all they need to identify things.

If they try and use their arm to do the bottom hand swing - they will not feel it and can potentially injure their front shoulder. They need to connect the arm to their body via muscle activation and resistance (not literally connect or press the arm against the body)

My DD uses her arm band for some core exercises on her own. Together we will stand back to back and pass the med ball from one side to another(Dad needs a little core work).
