Watch the ball bounce at the end..looks like a wiffle to me.

I thought that for a moment, too, until I stopped the video on that frame. It's the netting in front of the while ball. Wiffle balls don't sound like that when the bounce.

True..hard wiffles could kind of sound like that off the bat but not the bounce.

Fair point..would explain the duck and cover from Jeff

I get the duck and cover. I have a similar reaction pitching to Maddie in our backyard cage. More than a coupe of times, balls have ricocheted off poles and gotten me.

Can't it be both?
I do believe so. I use the One should be excited to crush a ball rather than getting excited after crushing the ball statement for a young one who is in the trying to make contact only stage.
