We have a red Heater machine that our rec association just bought recently. In our area, there is little travel ball so the rec teams are GOOD. It is virtually useless to our 16U and 13U and the 10U coach thinks it is too bulky. He prefers the old machine, which seems to throw the ball better. With the Heater, the motor couldn't seem to keep up with it. It was very inconsistent (which isn't always a bad thing) because after you feed a ball, you had to wait for what seems like forever for the wheel to speed up... or put it in without waiting and the pitch will move.
