Practice sprinter starts off the rubber. Once she does that a few times, have her, in one motion, "throw" her glove hand, ball hand, and stride foot towards the catchers mitt. Have her visualize that all of this happens when she begins her pitch.

You're not necessarily trying to get her to "lean", what you're trying to do is to get her to explode towards the catcher mitt, the lean is a non-teach secondary.

Watch Hillhouse's video, he does a pretty good job explaining a lot of this at the beginning, just make sure she keeps her feet flat during the "rocking" motion or she can get called illegal.

my dd struggled with this for about a year. she started seeing gillis 2 months ago and that is the exact analogy he uses, 'sprinter in the blocks'. she picked it up, literally, almost instantly.

There are videos on the internet that features a girl demonstrating a drill to improve drive toward the plate. She's a lefty; name is Lauren Bay. In one, she stands on her push leg only and drives off it. Looks effective. She has another video where she wears a harness attached to an elastic cord anchored to a post.
