Contrary to my "plan" and advice to the contrary, I ordered her a glove online (will be here tomorrow). I took a look at the Wilson A2000FP 1B and it is exactly what I'm looking for and since I've been looking at 1B mitts for the better part of the year, I just went for it.
The 12.1/4" size is pretty much the same size as her current glove so it will fit, it's just a question of whether or not it's comfortable for her. (If it's not, she has a little sister...)
I'm thinking I might "oil" it, start breaking the pocket in and give it to her for Christmas which is in the break between the first half and second half of her winterball season.
