Fastpitch Face Masks Revisited

When a kid goes to multiple clinics, and camps and hear from multiple college coaches mouths that the only way they look at a player wearing a mask is if they are a pitcher and are exceptional then it affects the kid. If the kid isn't a pitcher what else do you think they will do except drop the mask.

If you have the goods, mask or not you will get recruited. If you do not get recruited the mask is a convenient excuse. If a player truly believes that wearing a mask is important, I have to wonder which other principles are the they willing to compromise to play ball for a coach that they probably already do not respect?
