Daughter has the cf5 30 -11 and it is starting to make death noises. She has swung a cf6 and cf7 with the same great results. Was wondering if there were any solid reviews on the xeno -11. How it compares to the cf series. We live in a small community that doesnt have a place to demo a bat. Had one but it couldnt survive and shut its doors. Older daughter swings a -10 Xeno with great success.

Hopefully someone with both can give you better feedback but from what I understand both have great performance and the problems with some of the earlier Xeno models have been largely fixed. I think it comes down to which does the player feel more comfortable swinging.

My DDs have CF5 32/22 and CF6 31/20. Both are happy with them but I wouldn't hesitate to get a Xeno for the next bat if price point turns out better than Demarini similar model.

Demar and LS have the two best performing -11 bats out there. Its all in what fits the batter better and what they are more comfy with.

LAS I believe has spoken a lot on these bats and can tell you performance is there with both bats

I recently had an opportunity to weigh both the demarini CF7 -11 and the Xeno -11 still in the wrappers at my local athletic store. Both were supposed to be 31/20. The DeMarini weighed 20 ounces, the Xeno was just shy of 22 ounces. Anyone else run into the Xeno weighing more than advertised?

Not sure but search for Eric's bat weight database which should be a sticky in one of the forums.

Advantage: Xeno.

Not sure that is true for my 13 y/o DD, who is 4' 9" tall and 95 lbs soaking wet. She's not super strong but has good bat speed with her Demarini CF6 31/20. She is in love with the Xeno -11 and would like one for Christmas, but I'm not sure she can handle a 2 ounce jump.

Most bats do run overweight. The Demars are usually very good weight wise and so are the LXT's. The Xeno's usually are about an ounce (give or take) off. I have never seen a 2 ounce diff and I weigh every bat that come into my shop. So I dont believe people should go by this when buying because it could steer them very wrong.

I know in my DD case, she is a small '03 bday. Like 58" 70lbs. I believe her success has been her mechanics and generating lots and lots of bat speed. We have currently tried cf5,6,7 -11, easton 30" sn2b(didnt like at all) a 30" scn6b,(to heavy) and a 2013 xeno 30" in which she had minimal success(to me felt like a small sweet spot at the end of the barrel). Looks like we will stick with a demarini simply because there is just no Xeno -11 around here for her to try. Downside isshe doesnt like the colors of the cf7!!!lol!! Which of course is most important!!!lol

Maybe its time to move to a -10 bat. My DD's 2014 CF6 31/21 weighed 20.9oz. Swings a little lighter compared
to a 21oz Xeno. There is some good deals on the black & red 2014 -10 CF6 now.
