Coaching Book or Video

Fairly new to this. Was wondering what good technical resources are there. I've seen plenty about mental toughness, team work, player chemistry etc.... What about when to use the DH/Flex. Or with runners on 1st and 3rd what are your options as a defense. How do you call that defense. Looking for real coaching strategies.

You are in a great place here - search this forum and you will find a HUGE wealth of information on all aspects of the game. Best resource out there for coaches by far.

Subscription to SoftballExcellence.com (1 year - you can download EVERYTHING offered and then you don't have to renew for a year or two)

NECC Catching DVD - New England Catchers Clinic
Building the House DVD - Bill Hillhouse pitching DVD

I'll add the Kobata DVDs for fielding. That guy is a friggin genius.

I love the NECC stuff for catching, and while I enjoy the Hillhouse DVDs, I would like to find more "teach the teacher" pitching instruction. I haven't investigated SoftballExcellence, but it's on my list to check out.
