Clint Myers to Auburn?

Arizona State softball coach Clint Myers is contemplating leaving the program after being offered the same position at Auburn, a source close to the situation said Thursday.

The SEC seems to get tougher every year, adding a quality coaches like Myers will only make the SEC stronger.

He has a family member involved/coaching with one of the top travel team organizations in the state of Alabama. Makes sense a lot of sense that he would consider it.

I am still thinking "wow." Leaving the team and pitchers. They are free to transfer, now, too.

TMolina, I have to wonder if he got a dressing down from the AD, for doing that? I found it embarrassing to watch.

Mixed emotions. Was a big fan of Coach Deese because she was so personable. DD did camps there past three years. Coach Myers does have a good track record. Hoping they will become more competitive.

Amy I was embarresed by it too. But I doubt the AD told him anything, his son whom is the HC for the Thunderbolts did it when they beat Florida in the WCWS finals, remember after the first game the Florida coach called ASU out for calling pitches?
