bat inspection question

When I search online about this, I get different answers. DD'S bat is getting spiral webbing on it. Not much, but I assume it will get worse. I've read that the bat can be pulled during inspection, but others have said it's just breaking in. One site said all of the new bats will do this and the bat is fine for use.
What's the real answer?

If it's anything like other photos I've seen posted of spiral cracking the bat is done. The webbing in the bat is laid at angles and if its cracking diagonally it is the webbing cracking.
