I have an ASA book, but it is maddening.

Is there an online index that has listed the rule numbers, and maybe a synopsis of key stuff?
for example, I want to look up the rules for courtesy runners... the list might tell me it is 8-10... I have googled HARD, and cant find anything...

1) Courtesy runner... A courtesy runner is a runner who runs for another player without it being a charged substitution. (ASA Rule 1 DEFINITIONS).

A courtesy runner may be used for the pitcher or catcher only (ASA Rule 8-10A).

A courtesy runner may be any eligible substitute who has not been in the game (8-10C).

The index in the rule book will tell you all rules and supplements that deal with your topics. But yes it can be hard to find thinngs in the book at times.

The ASA phone app might help you out. Available through the ASA website.

It lets you search the rule book using any phrase you type in. For instance, type in "courtesy runner" and you get an index of all the rules applying to courtesy runners.

(Looks like Ajay beat me to it!)
