12U Travel Team / Welcome letter advice

I am starting a 12U travel team, and have already selected the players. I have a set of rules, practice dates, and game dates. I also have a vision and mission. I just need some sample letters, or guidance.

When I did mine, I kept it pretty brief as I handed out my mission statement and coaching background information, as well as had each player/parent sign an agreement to expectations/team fees at tryouts.

I just kept my welcome letter to congratulations, listed the roster, re-outlined expectations, and highlighted key dates (including when payments were due). Within a week of sending out that email I had a meet and greet for the parents/players where we went over uniform orders, fall schedule, practices, fundraising, expectations for spring, and had a Q&A session.
