I see that. Hard to tell from the angle, but it looks like her elbow slots quite a ways away from her side and her front arm is barred. Has she been taught palm up palm down, because it looks like she tries to force that early, plus the lack of tilt Amy mentions. Also, she doesn't get her back elbow ahead of her hands, good thing, but it still looks like she is dragging her bat though the zone. Those are both high pitches, a low pitch may show more.
Redhotcoach is saying your DD isn't getting her elbow in front of her hands. If she did that would be called Bat Drag. Which is bad. Casting is when your arms/hands get away from your shoulders/body while you swing. Your DD should be told/think hands inside ball. Pinch the bicep and forearm. Elbow close to the side of rib cage. Maybe your DD needs to learn/showed how to properly start her swing with her core/hips instead of her arms? Sounds like your DD is trying to start and power her swings with her arms.
