Was gonna order a slam ball yesterday but ran out of time. Been trying to figure proper weight to start. Have a 15yo 5-5 / 125#. Has been doing strength training since Aug. Looking to escalate intensity with slam ball. Any input would be appreciated.
I use a 4lb for the smaller kids and a 6lb one for my older ones...
We have a leader board that we keep track of the number of wall strikes in a 30 sec period.
She must beat her last recorded number by at least 1 rep... if she fails to beat her last score, she must continue to slam for an additional 15 sec.
NOTE: make sure they're breathing... I've had a couple nearly pass out
