DD has been working on I/R with great pitching coach, just looking for some additional feedback. We are aware that she needs more "flex" at 9 o'clock and want more stability on the front side at/before release. This is a leap and drag video, I'll try to get a new full pitch up also. Thanks.

I am no expert but I think she needs to lean forward more as her arm goes back at the start of her pitch so she can explode off the plate.

I dont see the upper arm stabilizing so she really isnt getting whip. IR seems forced a little as a result. Front shoulder is closed at release. That's my 2 cents. Take it for what its worth. Tough to tell about drive since she is doing the stork drill or something.. Glove swim? She doesnt seem to be utilizing her glove side at all. Up together down together.

Not an expert about pitching but believe she needs to get more open.

Two biggest things I see on a first look is the lack of leg drive and locking out her elbow to start the pitch.

I would have her try this. Just a few times just a couple sessions...to get the feel of no swim...JMHO

Your going to be working on the glove side too down the road. Its going to stay the same, working out the other things...and only gets deeper embedded.

I think it looks like you guys are off to a great start. I'm not looking at drive at this point since you are just showing us a drill and not a full pitch. I think working on stabilizing the elbow close to the ribs when the ball is down to 9 o'clock would be my priority to try to facilitate brush.

Also in the second drill that you posted it almost looks like she is trying to push the ball down the back of the circle initially instead of lead with the hand down the back of the circle . . . but maybe I'm just not seeing well??
