I wouldn't worry about a triangle or a box. On a low pitch dependent of how low. A hitter may start out with a 'triangle' and then has to abort that in desperation to make contact.

thank you. Just wanted to give another example. I really appreciate the feedback so far.
We are in the off season now. Hope we can get some work in. She strained/sprained her thumb in the first game last weekend on a diving catch and she really struggled with pain the next day. But the last 2 games she made an adjustment to a split grip.
