Supination creates the appearance of adduction. You are not trying to lower your upper arm into your ribcage. It's not two moves.

So - is that "throw the knob at the ball"? (to set the direction...)
I'm going to go with a NO.
I don't see any 'throw the knob at the ball' in this demo.
I do see 'turning the barrel'.

Yeah - I was being a bit facetious. ...because he is literally hitting the ball with the knob...
The 2nd one doesn't look like would get the barrel on the ball in any way that wouldn't cause a pop up - probably the angle. The first one illustrates the path really well.
I love these angles. They show the swing unlike a straight side angle. You can see how the barrel turns better with these angles. You can really see the barrels early arc.
