From GAGS - But really - it's almost a case-by-case basis. You want to help them be successful, but you don't want to coach out of them any athletic movement.

Let them find their own style. Worst thing I did with my son was let other coaches "coach" his natural style out of him, he's 14 now and we're still trying to put the genie back in the bottle

Oh man, you're definitely dealing with two Cookie Cutter coaches. It is not an absolute when it comes to stride/no stride but Weight Transfer is. It's more like whatever your DD is comfortable with. Is this coming from two coaches on the same team? For instance, HC/AC? If this is the case then yes, your DD is gonna feel like a yo-yo. It's not a good situation to be in for the sake of your DDs development as a hitter. Good luck figuring it out with your DD :)

Different coaches. Ones a pitching coach but likes to do hitting drills. I like his pitching coaching but I'm not sure he can stick to just
That. We've only meet once with him. So much going on I'm not sure we'll see him again soon. My girls and I do hitting one night and pitching
the next. I like different input. Her team assistant coach and my buddy get with us here and there. Been working pretty good.

FFS always offers great advice. Learning the sequence is the best advice anyone can get. Timing will come but way too many times you hear cues/instruction like "transfer your weight back then fire your hips". There's so much more that goes on. If the AC/buddy helps you guys out, just make sure he's talking about sequence. FWIW, we work on it everyday!
