Parents and Coaches let's see YOUR swing

In the Reverse Hanson Principle thread, I kinda got called out by Nanotech...like what are my credentials to be a hitting coach.

It's all good. He makes a very valid point IMO.

A couple of points here: We ask our DD's to do some amazing things and sometimes we can expect too much. Put your swing up against hers...go ahead...don't be shy

In comparison, Boardmember posted plenty of gifs of himself in his I/R in the classroom thread. Clearly he can talk the talk and walk the walk.

The side on video got botched because of a finger over the camera eye. I'll repost that angle next time I'm in the cages.

My personal analysis: Too little knee drive in my back leg and I felt like I was hanging back a touch. I'm still healing so I'm guessing that mentally I'm not going to fully rotate my core because of my incisions. Overall, pretty satisfied given that I haven't swung a bat in a month and I had my gall bladder out 17 days ago. Tough to tell from this angle if I lose the angle in my elbows too quick.

I'd love to hear constructive critique from anyone else...

PS: Please keep this fun...too many folks are taking themselves WAAAAAY too seriously here lately because of cabin fever.

With the risk of not watching anymore cable TV, my kids cutting back on softball and sending my wife of 20+ years to the IOL I will pass.

You need to realize my sports hero was/is Rico Petrocelli...he was a like a .250 hitter....so I'm no Teddy or Spoke for that matter.

Here's the deal....I would in all likelihood hurt myself to a degree I would have to go on disability from my main job...and then I would lose my 2nd job altogether....the loss in income would mean major cutbacks...meaning no more Cable TV and no more pitching lessons and cage time.

Furthermore...when my wife finds out I hurt myself b/c I was yes in fact posting videos of myself on this website, a website she already says I spend way too much time on...she will LOSE IT to a degree she will self admit to the IOL.

So...in the best interest of many others....I will pass on posting my Rico Wall Ball Swings.

But that was kind of you for asking...thank you.
