Hi. My 13 y.o. daughter tore her UCL hook sliding into 2B at an indoor tournament January 11. We did not think her injury was that big of a deal so when it started feeling better after a few days she went back to practice. That did not go well- fast forward another month and mri shows grade 2 UCL tear.
She is a pitcher. The pitching motion is not what hurts but we have shut her down completely hoping for healing. My question is - has anyone has success with rest and PT for healing? If so how long did it take? School ball tryouts are in 3 weeks. We asked about PRP and the doctor looked at me like I was crazy.
She is A level and has a chance to make her varsity team as an 8th grader.
Looking for experience with this injury!
Thank you.

In most areas you'll need to seek out a clinic that specializes to get PRP. So many traditional sports medicine docs won't touch it. There is a peptide called BPC-157 that is worth looking into as well.
