    2020 fielding offers question

    What criteria is best to use when making a decision (or not) on an offer(s)? Coaching staff could change, current academic major choice could change 10 times, social life will change, etc. So much can happen in 3 yrs. SHOULD 2020s make verbal commitments? Asking for a friend:cool:

    Uniform trends?

    I'm working on uniforms for spring. I can't decide to go with short sleeves for both jerseys or one ss and one sleeveless. Anyone have their finger on the pulse of the uniform trends. I'm resisting the trend of ankle length pants. Those are still too baseball for me.

    Bad pair of Ringors?

    I bought DD a new pair of Ringor metal cleats before the fall season and within a short time the seam on the tongue had started to wear. Fast forward to last weekend and she shows me a seam on the top of the shoe (pinky toe side) that is popping open. She didn't wear the shoe from October-March...

    DD hit her first dinger and it was grand slam!

    DD1 is a good hitter, probably has the highest average on her team but hasn't hit a homerun yet. Until Saturday. Bases loaded and she hit one to right scored 4!

    Game decided by coin toss

    DD1 had an indoor tournament over the weekend and 1st pool play game was tied after one international tie breaker. Coin flip decided the winner and loser--her team lost and got dropped to the losers bracket. Happy to report they battled back and won the tournament!

    I've seen try outs announced for the different regions on the USSSA sites. Any idea on if they are worth going to. Those selected play at Disney. What's your take?
