Game decided by coin toss

DD1 had an indoor tournament over the weekend and 1st pool play game was tied after one international tie breaker. Coin flip decided the winner and loser--her team lost and got dropped to the losers bracket. Happy to report they battled back and won the tournament!

THat's a chickensnot way to determine a winner. DD played a team in the finals of a JV tourney last year that got there by virtue of winning the toss. The other girls were wrecked.
DD's team won the thing and would have probably beaten either contender, but not getting a chance because of a coin flip just ain't right.

Glad your kids were able to shake that off and win out.
