after posting i have done more reading. i feel we have started our swing from the top down, instead of the bottom up. the coach does preach getting on top of the ball a lot and i see short pop ups when ball is not a line drive or ground ball. my daughter as he says is "HANDSY" with her swing at...
was reading old thread on "newbie help with drills" saw where fiveframeswing posted a progression drill that him and tweks and others commented on. this drill is for the lower

12u girls get good separation with hands. 1-2 get to much. My question is what is the best drill or drills
after that. There is so much info here, it is hard to put together. I would like to see more with the lower half of the swing. I feel we use our hands a little to much. We teach "hands...

DD has fastball, flip change and working on peel drop. What are some of the ways to take a little off a pitch? Grip the ball deeper? Grip it harder? Stiffen the wrist a little? Looking for a 3rd off speed pitch in
between fastball and change. 10-13mph diff. in change and fastball.
have been working on stride foot landing. still a work in progress. any advice on keeping weight back and stopping forward lean at release. in the middle of travel season, trying not to complicate things to bad.

trying to explode as far as she can. we do the two hillhouse drills as warm up prior to pitching. does well...
