    assuming she's a rughty, put a softball under her left toe. My older daughter, who is now playing dII, had a major lunging issue at the end of U14. We spent the winter working on her swing and someone showed me that drill. If you have a ball under your stride foot and lunge, you fall over.

    Obviously it's your call. He can't tell you not to do something. I assume this is a travel team that she had to try out for? That other girls were cut for your daughter to play on? That she may get cut from eventually for choosing her rec team over her travel team?

    The worst 15 minutes ever

    No win situation We had 12 and even after making sure everyone knew the rules concernign playing time we had two leave within 2 weeks for lack of playing time. I would rather have 10 and pray for no injuries although it's not practical. Yet, that's where I'm at now so I'm praying lol

    Have a rosin bag on the mound. Or a little spit will help. My DD has that issue and has a rosin bag with her If the ball is slippery, she can ask for a new one. If it's wet, they will always let her get a dry one.
