Hips or the Hands or both simultaneously(lets keep it simple)?

When you reference lead arm on plane does that include the knob of the bat as well?

Maybe there's a miss understanding of go first. When I think go first I'm talking about the HPP starting the barrel rearward.

I saw a thread on twitter where they discuss being balanced on the back leg as you move forward and rearward. I see a lot of hitters who move forward while moving rearward keeping the stretch that would not be able to stop or hover the front foot and be balanced on the rear leg......Thoughts?

I I believe the tilt helps activate the knee or scope. IMO with just hip rotation some very important things are missing...

    Hip Slip

Tango......Tm said last night that if their was a specific drill that he had to use to help with tilt......it would be the wall drill.

Tango......Do you have a video buddy? I apologize, I'm new to the site and here to learn more about the HLP swing from others on this forum. When I was searching I read some great stuff that made me join. In terms of drills I'm not sure if there's one certain drill that teaches it. The stretch...

    Hip Slip

Rich K. ------ I think your last statement is spot on. I think it just happens but it happens because of the coil, pullback and tilt. However IMO I think the tilt is the key factor but I could be wrong. Im always learning and trying to figure things out.....The hip has to slip over the back of...

    Corner vs no Corner

When you mention over-bake - are you talking about over rotation with the shoulders? When I think of over rotation, front shoulder goes past the second baseman on a righty.

    Hip Slip

I asked TM the same question. He told me just "tilt". What helped me was him mentioning trying to place my scap in my back pocket at launch.
