    I am avoiding the radar gun like the plague.

    Hey Bob, In my opinion, 14u should know the speed of their pitches. Not just for trying to make them faster but more importantly learning how and when to change speeds to keep the hitters off balance. The good teams will catch up to the heat regardless of how fast it is. Good Luck!

    Educate me about the riseball

    recently at a pitching clinic...i caught a real rise ball from an elite pitcher named Joe Tucker. It was like a was watching a cartoon. The ball would literally jump when it got within 10 feet of me. I really could see it hop when he slowed it down to around 55, he could also zing it around...

    Headfirst Honor Roll Camp?

    DFP, DD just received a invite to a Headfirst Honor Roll Camp. Does anyone have any experience at one of these camps? If so, how was it? I am asking mainly because the cost is much more than the normal camp.

    Winter Indoor Pitching Mats

    I made my own mat a few years back. The stronger dd#1 got, the tougher it was to maintain. This year I broke down and bought the 3x10 for 139 from allturfmats.com. I love the fact I can easily transport it if needed. So far it's been awesome.

    Screw the Screwball?
