Ethics Question - Accepting a Spot on a Team, but still looking?
Different at our level it seems. We have not had tryouts for years. You must be invited to play with our organization. We let all of the other groups do all of that. Again, the number system???
I forget there are a lot of rec coaches and TB coaches posting here. At the level we are playing we are not playing to win, but to showcase talent. We have no Coaches egos to stroke, and we are not chasing trophies. We are earning scholarships.- Bartow12

Wristbands suck and should be made illeagal. Game is getting more like baseball everyday. I have coached for 15 years now at most levels and currently run a High level showcase organization. Scoring question..Triple or error?

Sorry, as it was described, this is E8. As in most HS games sounds like most do not want the precious batting average to suffer but it sound like it should have been routine. catchers helmets
All Star 7 Series IMP, also please teach all young catchers to keep the helmet on their head. It is not a mask and helmet system ( Skull Cap) like we used to play in. The helmet and mask does not fall off when you look up for foul balls. They are designed to stay on the players head.- Bartow12

Terrible mechanics, NOT NECC. As said arm not straight, ect, ect. Good catchers recieve the ball the ball with thumb at noon or 6 o'clock, and rotate the hand around the ball. E2 is the only and best choice if you are a catcher. Yep it is big, but if she is going to travel and play best bag to fly with. Mine packs her gloves in her carry on and packs her uniforms and clothes in with her gear when she flies. She will get 2 - 3 years of hard use from it.- Bartow12

Correct, it is glove to glove pitch does not matter other than it needs to be easy to handle. I think I was once told that pop of the catchers mitt to transfer to throw is between 2 and 3 tenths on average.
